Our Founder + Owner

Dr. Veronica Millman DACM, MSTOM L.Ac

I’m a nationally board-certified and licensed acupuncturist and certified in Micro-needling. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, I did my undergrad in Boulder, Colorado before heading out to San Diego where I got my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Health and Science.

Mountain Peak Wellness is the culmination of nearly a decade of dreaming, studying, and working toward the vision of creating an intentional space for healing—rooted in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine and tailor-made to meet the needs of each person who walks through the door.

I take a whole-person approach to health. My clinical focus includes: pain relief, post-injury recovery, stress and anxiety, digestion, hormonal health, and facial rejuvenation. Whether someone is navigating chronic illness or seeking to maintain wellness in a busy life, I meet my patients with presence, compassion, and curiosity—always looking to find and treat the root cause.

I believe healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and supported. That is what is meant by an intentional space for healing: a place where people feel empowered in their health and more connected to themselves.

Outside the treatment room, you’ll most likely find me snowboarding at Copper Mountain or Winter Park, (or my new-found love: Eldora)—my favorite days are spent on the slopes with my fiancé. I love hiking and camping with family during the summer, and I’m always up for a good live concert. Being outdoors, in rhythm with the seasons, is how I recharge and stay inspired. I’m a lover of all furry-friends, being long-time dog owners and currently mother to our sassy tuxedo cat, Zeppelin. I look forward to learning more about you and connecting with you and your passions!
